Summit Energy Rebrands Kimball Resources

Reinforces Unified Worldwide Brand

Summit Energy Services, Inc., a leading privately held energy management firm, today announced that Houston-based Kimball Resources, which Summit acquired earlier this year, has been renamed Summit Energy, effective immediately.

“The inclusion of the Kimball operations under the Summit Energy identity serves to reinforce recognition of our unified brand as a dominant global player in the evolving energy management sector,” said Steve Wilhite, President and CEO of Summit Energy Services. “Such broad recognition will facilitate our continued expansion on both a regional and global scale.”

The rebranding includes Kimball Resources’ full-service management operations in Houston; Portage, Michigan; Camas, Washington; and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In its 25 years as an energy management company, Kimball became a leader in serving large natural gas users in the automotive, steel, pulp and paper, rubber, furniture and other industries.
